It’s a more involved process than repair work, since the entire system gets designed and built from the ground up to handle the property’s demands and function reliably for decades.

Utah New Construction Plumbing Service

What PPS Plumbing offers

New construction spans a lot. Here’s what PPS Plumbing offers for commercial and residential plumbing projects.

Commercial plumbing projects

Commercial plumbing projects involve installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial buildings. These projects are typically more complex and larger in scale than residential plumbing due to higher user demands and stringent regulations. There are more specific requirements for commercial spaces.

Our team can handle any new construction project, whether for tenant improvement or a large-scale commercial project. We also install radiant heating and ice melt systems, which are ideal for Utah winters. We work on projects like:

  • Large commercial projects
  • Manufacturing facilities
  • Hotels and motels
  • Apartments and condominium projects
  • Offices
  • Retail spaces
  • Hospitals
  • Public buildings

Residential plumbing projects

Residential new construction plumbing involves designing, installing, and setting up plumbing systems in newly built homes. This process ensures the residence has a functional, efficient, and reliable water supply and waste disposal system.

Our technicians pay attention to every detail, whether it’s remodeling a bathroom or installing an ice melt system for a driveway. We work on:

  • Remodels
  • Basement finishes
  • Parade of Homes residences
  • Large custom homes
  • Radiant heating
  • Ice melt systems

Benefits of working with us

  • A plumbing system designed correctly from the start, reducing the risk of costly changes mid-project.
  • 15 years of experience across both commercial and residential new construction.
  • Specialty systems included, like radiant heating and ice melt, tailored for Utah’s winters.
  • Code-compliant installation tested and verified before the project is considered complete.
  • One team for the full scope, from large commercial builds to custom home remodels.

How our process works

Designing plumbing for new construction involves a meticulous process to ensure the water supply, drainage, and venting systems function efficiently and comply with local building codes. It involves the following steps:

1. Analyzing architectural plans
2. Coordinating with other professionals
3. Designing the water supply system
4. Designing the drain-waste-vent (DWV) system
5. Gas plumbing design (if applicable)
6. Designing plumbing for appliances
7. Ensuring code compliance
8. Energy and water efficiency consideration
9. Future-proofing the design
10. Finalizing and approval

Once the system is installed, it’s tested to confirm there are no leaks and that it complies with local building codes, using methods appropriate to each component.

Ben was told one problem existed, and a part needed replacing, but when he got there discovered that was not the problem. It was just needing cleaning. So he did that. No parts were used. That is what I would call excellent and honest service Thanks Ben

In the last month I had two plumbing issues that needed immediate attention. Despite having a full work schedule, Ben understood my situation and had crews out to my house on the same days that I called and completed the repairs perfectly. They were professional, respectful of my property and did amazing work. I have not always had positive experiences with plumbing services in the past. So I am very grateful to have found a service now that I can completely depend on and trust. Thank you PPS!!

This company is awesome. I called because the drain for my washer was overflowing, and flooding my laundry room. Ben quoted me a price, and said that he could have someone out to me in an hour if I wanted. I was surprised by how fast they could get someone to me. After they arrived, Josh was very helpful, and also thorough. He made sure the drain was working exactly how I wanted before cleaning and packing up his stuff. Then, to quite a relief, the amount charged turned out to be EXACTLY how much I was quoted by Ben. No extra, last minute items or services not previously calculated or anything. How often does that happen with other home maintenance services?! All in all, very pleased with my experience today. Thank you Professional Plumbing!
